Originally from Dallas, TX, Jason started performing at age 3 when his parents put him in his first theater class. 2 years later, he was performing professionally in and around Dallas and by the time he graduated high school had worked at Casa Manana, WaterTower Theater, Uptown Players, and Dallas Summer Musicals.
After a stint of writing and recording his own music, Jason attended Southern Methodist University for Acting. There he performed in, directed, and produced multiple productions and worked at regional theater's across the country including Dallas Theater Center, New London Barn Playhouse, and Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey.
Shortly after graduating, Jason moved to New York to start rehearsals for Fiddler at Westchester Broadway. However, on the first day of rehearsals he found out that he would be starring as Woof in the International Tour of HAIR. Over the next 6 months he would perform in 36 cities and 3 countries.
In 2014, Jason booked his first TV audition in New York working on Denis Leary's Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll. Denis would end up using Jason's scene to introduce the new show on Jon Stewart's The Daily Show 2 days before Jon left.
